【Get 200 yen off when purchasing Prolog and townsfolk beans together】

Sweet and refreshing citrus notes reminiscent of amanatsu orange. A gentle, clean finish like apple tea. It has a clarity and natural sweetness that makes it an easy-drinking coffee you can enjoy all day long. A high-quality washed coffee from one of Rwanda's premier producers.

Shira Coffee Washing Station (CWS) is located in Nyabihu District, on the border between the Western and Northern Provinces.
At an altitude of 2,300m—among the highest for coffee cultivation in Rwanda—coffee cherries produced in these deep, mist-covered mountain valleys deliver a cup quality that stands in a class of its own.
This lot is designated as "A1 TOP," meaning it is a top-tier selection that takes the already superior A1 export grade and subjects it to even stricter, proprietary density sorting.

At the Shira CWS, the coffee cherries undergo rigorous sorting to ensure that only fully ripened, well-developed cherries are used in the production of this lot.
After density sorting in floating tanks, de-pulping, and secondary density sorting of the parchment, the A1 TOP lot undergoes an additional floating selection process to meticulously verify the quality of the cherries and parchment. After sorting, the parchment is carefully hand-sorted while still wet, before being laid out to dry. Hand-sorting while wet allows for a significant reduction in defect contamination.
During the subsequent sun-drying process, the staff stirs the beans every 30 minutes. This incredibly diligent approach, sparing no effort to ensure uniform drying, results in this exceptionally clean coffee.

The consistently high quality year after year is truly astonishing. It is a clean, sweet coffee that captures the very essence of what makes a washed Rwandan coffee so appealing.
